Citrus Freak is a brand new double dry-hopped lager, brewed in collaboration with our Melbourne homies at Up There Store and Farside Beers. We wanted to brew a super citrusy lager, perfect for crushing on hot summer days. We have dry-hopped the heck out of it with a succulent combo of Lemondrop, Eclipse and Citra. It pours a magnificently clear light straw colour which glows flourescently in the sunshine. As the name suggests, this is a citrus bomb. Big hits of pithy orange, lemon sherbet, and mandarin hit hard on the palate with a lasting and saturating orangey goodness thanks to a cheeky hit of Citra Incognito (yeah, we did that). There is a clean but firm bitterness that ties things together perfectly and makes this possibly the beer of the summer.
