We've created three drippy IPA's, each using the same malt bill, yeast strain and hop varieties. The only difference being each one is hoppier in volume than the last. The aim of this series is to highlight the difference the dry hop volume in a beer makes in the finished product. It's a stunning opportunity for you to nerd out with us and enjoy a step up in each of these three beers. You can try each of them one after the other, at different times, or pour each one out at the same time and compare and contrast. Grab a bud and share them around, it's a great way to chat hops and compare what flavours each of you find in each beer.
Each beer follows a simple yet effective malt bill of extra pale malt, oats and wheat and is fermented with our house hazy yeast strain. We've dry-hopped them with a naughty little combo of our favourite US and Kiwi hops including Citra, Centennial, Nelson Sauvin and Rakau. Here's what our Head Brewer Mitch had to say:
IPA 25g/L
Deep straw coloured milky haze. The same as the 20g/L with aroma but it has a nice vanilla note in it as well. Almost makes you think it’s creamy before taking a sip. Great pina colada cocktail of flavours coming through. Some really nice pine lime splice mixed with passionfruit, mango and a hint of vanilla. Bod on this one is extra smooth with more intensity. Kind of tastes like a DDH DIPA without the alcohol.
