Left Handed Scissors is a modern west coast style Double IPA that we’ve hopped with a banging lineup of Superdelic, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe Cryo. So clear you could read a book through it, with a nice spritzy carbonation and dense foam on top. Aromas of candied citrus, lemon sherbert, pineapple, grapefruit, pine and a touch of resin jump right out of the glass. The palate is sticky hop oils, backed up by zingy preserved lemon, ruby red grapefruit and some juicy honeydew melon. There’s a nice hint of Mosaic dankness that really ties it all together. A big hit of late palate bitterness finishes things off, as any good westy should. The ultimate beer to kick start your night, or the perfect palate cleanser during or after a meal. Just like a pair of left handed scissors, this beer will cut through anything.
