The Denton Pinot Noir block is in the north-east of the site near the Chardonnay and is planted at a high density to provide more power and concentration while maintaining the lightness and elegance of the vineyard. This micro-climate and soil profile contribute lots of bright, fresh red and black fruit and mineral florals, framed by fine tannin on an acid frame.

The 2021 was wild fermented with 60% whole bunches included, and held on skins for 21 days with frequent plunging and foot stomping and no temperature control. Pressed to 500 litre French oak puncheons (13% new) and left for 12 months prior to bottling without fining or filtration and minimal sulphur.
